Home. The Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals is an association formed by and for high school and middle school administrators. Established in 1957, its purpose is to build an active network of educators working to improve the quality of school leadership and ultimately, to improve student achievement.
Middle level and high schools are defined as those containing some portion of grades 6 through 12. Candidate must have served as an assistant principal at one or more middle level or high schools for three or more consecutive school years. Candidate must complete the online NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year application.

Poe was also named the 2012 Outstanding NKU Alumnus of the College of Education and Human Services. He was selected for the Northern Kentucky Education Council One to One Literacy award in 2011, serves on Kentucky Leads the Nation Roundtable and was inducted into the Northern Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2007.
