9/3/2020 · I had to reload Windows 10 Pro 64bit from a authorized purchased disk which has Version 1703. Everything was OK until I updated to the latest Windows 10. Now all processes in Task Manager>Details> UAC Virtualization are Disabled and Not Allowed . Is this supposed to be the normal state? I’m not sure, but I believe that it was never like that before.
3/29/2011 · As far as why it was listed as ‘Not Allowed’, my guess is that he may have run git elevated by accident or something. That doesn’t seem to be the reason, running as administrator makes the the UAC Virtualization column in Task Manager show blank, not Not Allowed.
7/2/2014 · In the task manager in the column for UAC virtualization , not allowed means a thing is running as administrator. But what do ‘ enabled ‘ and ‘disabled’ mean? I don’t know what virtualization is but it’s safe to say I don’t need to get deeply involved with it. I only have one computer and I’m the only person who uses it.
1/12/2012 · When the application try to change it, UAC Virtualization will return an access denied error instead of reparsing it to %LOCALAPPDATA%VirtualStore config.ini. Although I did not found this documented, this behavior is probably done by design, since it makes some sense.

Win 7 HAV Detection tool indicated my Latitude does not have Virtualization enabled I went to BIOS settings and changed them to enabled for all 3 Virtualization options, as well as for TPM (One of the Virtualization settings indicated TPM must be enabled ) I then selected TPM activate and rebooted the machine However, HAV Tool still says ‘ Not enabled ‘
